The author's brother was 6 years
older. He died in 2007 after succumbing to stress and suffered
heart failure. The author does not wish to become another
victim of this condition, but already has heart problems.
20 years of campaigning,
suffering from fighting against corrupt and vested interests
has left the author debilitated and suffering from chronic
fatigue - amongst other dangerous conditions. But this is not
a plea for sympathy, it's just to inform the reader that even
the most healthiest person has limits of endurance. The
author's were passed a long time ago. Consequently, the
ongoing distress caused to the author by those with malicious
motives, and the added stress being caused by those in power, is worsening the
author's condition from day-to-day.
The author's wife is also
suffering from the enforced separation. She is being punished
for no good reason. She too has had to endure many trials and
tribulations in her life, and has had to make painful choices
in her modern life because of it.
Being forced to leave her
daughter behind in Indonesia has not been easy. But as part of
her duty towards her daughter, she has been forced to travel
overseas to earn enough money to ensure her daughter has a
decent education. A single mother cannot do this working for a
US company for $1 a day in Indonesia. She can afford to do it
working for a US company in the US for $9 (around £4.50) an
hour. Notably she also pays her dues in her new country - she
pays tax and social security, and gets nothing back.
It is the fault of the West that
it exploits slave labour in poor countries. As a consequence,
some of the unfortunate souls who are driven to desperate
measures, have to seek their livelihood elsewhere.
It is an immensely evil world
when those who are driven by greed, and the desire for war and
destruction, can spare no time for those who wish to be united
in love.
This is the author and his
precious wife. Victims to the mindset of those with no rooms
in their hearts for compassion. We don't want any special
favours, we just want justice and to be together.
