Dear Ambassador

May I first congratulate on your appointment to the Indonesian Embassy in London. I hope your stay here will be a pleasing and rewarding one.

I write to you today upon a request of a senior member of your staff. I think the lady's name is Yosevlin Indrawati. I spoke to Miss Indrawati on Monday, sometime after visiting the US Embassy in London. I told Miss Indrawati of my ordeal concerning my Indonesian wife in the US and of my fears for her safety and our future.

I have set up a website which will give you a very good idea of why I am writing to you today. I shall try to explain in short detail in this letter, but for a better understanding, you can visit www.nohumanity.com/my_story. This is my situation:

In March, 2007, while on a 'therapeutic' holiday in the US, I was introduced to an Indonesian lady by the name of 'Ling-Ling'. Her real name is [Name withheld].

By the end of May, 2007, we were married. We are still very much in love but feel totally heartbroken by the fact we have spent so little time together.

It was our desire to be reunited again on January 30th, 2008, after the latest of my Visa Waiver Programme visits to the US had expired. This is when I fell foul of corrupt immigration officials in San Francisco who blackmailed, threatened and intimidated me into signing a falsified statement concerning my trips to the US. Consequently, I was then put back on a plane to the UK. You can read full details of my ordeal on my website (in Part 5 of My Story).

After my ordeal, I tried to acquire a visa to travel to the US. My application was heard but refused on 11th August, 2008 (yesterday). After being discriminated against (yet again) by the officer who dealt with my application, I lost control of my feelings and said exactly how I feel about the evil way the US is destroying my life, as well as other people's lives around the world.

The US Embassy have now been left in no doubt about my terrible distress and the way I have been mentally tortured and tormented by their level of deceit and corruption. As a consequence, they have informed me I am no longer welcome at the Embassy. They claim I threatened a diplomat (the immigration official who interviewed me). But all I said (albeit angrily while suffering great distress) was that when (if) Barack Obama becomes President of the US, I would seek legal retribution for their discrimination against me. I did nothing more.

I could say that I do not understand why I have been singled out for the awful treatment I have received by the Americans. But knowing of their Government's evil ambitions, it is of no surprise to me that this has happened. They used criminal tactics to stop me going back to the US on 30th January, 2008, and now they are trying to cover-up their crimes.

It is also not just myself who has been victimised. I am reading of more and more people who are also suffering at some US immigration officials who are drunk on power and think they have a divine right to wreck foreign people's lives. This is not surprising considering the US policy, both foreign and domestic, to bring misery and destruction to other peoples lives. In the Middle East we see them waging illegal wars and killing so many while at home they rob social funds to pay for said wars. Poor people in the US are therefore denied basic human rights.

Resolution:

It was always my intention to spend some time with my wife in the US and to collect my possessions of which some I have lost and some are 'trapped' there. Carriers like FedEx will not transport some of my valuables and personal treasured possessions from the US to the UK.

I also have one friend who is suicidal. She has a broken back and needs supplies of oxygen to remain alive. But she has lost all will to live and wishes to die with some dignity. She wants to meet me again before she dies as I am a 'spiritual' brother to her. I certainly also consider her as my spiritual sister. I am heartbroken that she will die without us ever seeing each other again. Add this to to my heartbreak over not seeing my wife, about having our lives wrecked and me losing possessions in the US, and you will understand the terrible, terrible pain I am suffering.

I just want to do the decent thing. See my dying friend, get my possessions and arrange for my wife to go with me to Indonesia - so I can apply for a visa for her to travel with me to the UK.

The reason my wife will not leave the US without me is because she fears what immigration will do - based upon the threats and intimidation I received from the criminal immigration officers in San Francisco. I fear for my wife's life and safety as a consequence. This is based upon the fact that numerous immigration officials in the US are 'out of control' and their have even been examples of women being beaten and raped by said persons.

This is what I would like to ask you to do ...

I need representation at the highest level for our situation. I would ask you to intervene especially on behalf of my wife and ask that she be shown compassion and allowed to be reunited with me so we can finalise our affairs in the US and then travel to Indonesia.

My wife will not leave the US until I am reunited with her. Because she overstayed her stay in the US, she fears for her life. She also has a daughter in Indonesia whom she is supporting. Without the funds she sends back from Indonesia, she cannot end her child to a good school.

My wife's first husband abandoned her and now she wonders if I will do the same as the US seem determined to cause us as much suffering as possible. I am desperate to prevent my wife's insecurity from making her feel she is isolated.

Before closing, I would like to say that during my stays in the US, I have been a good ambassador for my country and a model citizen in the US. What have I done to be tortured like this? Nothing at all. Obviously, I am extremely angry and bitter now towards the US administration and feel they are due any respect from me. But this does not mean I am a threat to the US. I will be sad to have to say goodbye to all the good friends I made in the US as I shall never see them again. I shall also be sad to have to give up the dream of living in a country where the climate suited my health and the scenery filled my heart with joy.

But all of this I give up without reservation for the woman I love and will never abandon. She brings more joy to my life than you can imagine and I think she deserves all the respect and human rights that any decent person deserves.

Please, please try to help us. Please contact the US Ambassador on our behalf and attempt to arrange for permission for me to go to the US. Please note that my own Government will not help. They are so afraid to upset the Americans that they have told me I am on my own. I am surrounded by betrayal and treachery from my own Government and a victim to the evil and criminal terror tactics of the US Government. I have nobody else to turn to for help. Even attempts to get legal help have failed - both here and in the US.

Please help us avoid a tragedy.

NB. My wife has asked me to sign divorce papers, as by doing this she can claim asylum in the US. This will give her the chance to continue to work there and make money for her daughter. She will also get some legal protection from an application for asylum. I do not wish to sign such papers, but may be forced to just to continue to try and give my wife all the protection I can afford her while being apart. Please also note that I do not yet have the financial resources to fully help my wife, and certainly have none for her daughter.
