"Injustice anywhere is a
threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an
inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment
of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all
indirectly."
- Martin Luther King, Jnr.
"I have always found
that mercy bears richer fruits than strict justice."
- Abraham Lincoln

... I'm still counting. If there
is a hell upon earth, then it's in San Francisco. I think that
many years ago, someone told me that there were three centres
of evil on this planet, and I think San Francisco was one of
them. Regardless of mythology, pseudo-science or spiritual
knowledge, this has proven true for me. Even the airport
itself looks evil. To me, it's like a giant demonic beast (or
alien) with legs, arms, a head, slanted eyes, and ... a
sizeable phallic representation. Judge for yourself ...

The aliens have landed ... in San
Francisco
The Nightmare begins
It was a 12-hour flight. 1 hour
waiting to take-off (delayed as usual) and 11 hours to reach
home of one of humanity's versions of hell - San Francisco
International Airport.
While California is well-known
for it's gay community, one does not expect to be sodomised in
all but the conventional way when arriving at the airport. But
give it time. Considering the way some American military have
behaved towards their Islamic victims, it's perhaps no
surprise that the same attitude should prevail outside the
military. What is worse though is that Homeland Security is a
law unto itself. It has no moral standing, is totalitarian,
and has no respect for the human rights of others. Perhaps
this is why the airport in San Francisco is designed in such a
way. Prepare to be politically sodomised - and in a very big
way.
So what happened to me when I
arrived?
I got off the plane and queued
as usual for passport control. The officer who asked me to
turn right seemed OK. When I reached the immigration office,
all seemed normal. But that is all that was normal about the
place.

I sat down at a desk opposite
Officer 'S'. He could not speak very good English. But I'll
get back to this officer later. Here's what I published on the
original version of this website about the ordeal:

"I was in transit to Portland,
Oregon. I had just endured a flight of about 12 hours
(including the delayed take-off and was feeling weak and
tired. I have a medical condition which means that I suffer
from long-haul flights.
Upon going to passport control, I
was redirected to immigration. From this point I suffered a
3-hour ordeal of intimidation, threats and blackmail. Details
in brief:
i. I was not allowed any civil
liberties apart from a drink of water and use of toilet
facilities. I was initially denied any telephone calls to any
of my contacts in the USA. I was also denied any access to an
attorney. Because I was in ‘no-man’s land’, I was informed by
immigration that I had no rights whatsoever. In effect, I was
totally at the mercy of the officials interrogating me.
ii. I answered all the questions they asked as honestly as I
could. But critical questions were deliberately misrepresented
and used as justification to deny me entry to the USA.
Examples are:
1. They said I overstayed my visit
in 2004. This is untrue. I came to the USA for 5.5 weeks. It
is not my fault the paperwork was lost by immigration. And if
I did abuse the VWS in 2004, why was I not barred from
entering on further occasions? This matter has never been
raised during my previous trips to the USA.
2. I was accused of overstaying in early October 2007. This
was due to mitigating circumstances (a death) and is permitted
by US immigration law. It also did not prevent me from
re-entering the USA later in October 2007.
3. I was accused of entering the USA with the intention of
staying indefinitely. I was asked this questions and I replied
I would only remain in the country by legal means. This would
be through the correct Visa (investment, work, etc.). I had NO
intention of staying illegally. Even my poor wife has insisted
I only enter the USA legally as she too is a law-abiding
person (again, albeit she was trapped in an employment
nightmare).
The immigration official
interviewing me changed what I had said and stated in his
report I had the intention of staying in the country
indefinitely (and, consequently, illegally).
Other reasons for refusing my
entry were given and condensed down to three items. I was not
given a copy as promised, thus preventing me from taking legal
action again the criminal actions of immigration.
The immigration officials also
said they could do as they please. Essentially, it was
directly implied they were beyond the law and could do as they
like. And because I had not yet officially entered the
country, I had no rights and was completely at their mercy.
When I refused to sign the
statement I had made, even after I was allowed to make a few
corrections to grammar and spelling errors, my wife was
threatened. The senior immigration officer deciding my fate
said that if I did not sign, he would immediately go after my
wife. He also said that immigration would “remember me” if
and when I returned and that even if I had the correct
paperwork, I could still be refused. This was so outrageous
and threatening that I had no choice but to sign under
protest. I marked my statement as such in writing.
It is only after agreeing, against
my will, to sign all the paperwork that I was permitted on
telephone call. I could not reach my wife as she was in
transit from work, so had to call her friend. He could not
reach her later and my wife stayed awake all night not knowing
why I was not with her. She cried throughout the night in fear
that I may be dead in some accident. *She has been crying every
night since and not eating. I fear terribly for her health and
emotional stability.
My 3-hour interrogation ended by
being put back immediately on a plane to the UK which caused
me serious health problems.

*Update: My wife was made very
ill by this ordeal. But she did recover after being cared for
by one of her Indonesian friends.

Back to Officer 'S' ...
He and his senior officer (I
cannot recall his name) should both not just be fired, but
prosecuted for corruption. They are a disgrace, not just to
the authority they are supposed to represent, but the
principle of humanity itself. The attitude of the senior
officer was particularly similar to some of the ill-willed
immigration officers I have previously encountered.
Both these people are evil
monsters - out of control and willing to do anything just to
justify their jobs. As Officer 'S' said to me:
"We have to do this, or we lose
our jobs". He also said to me: "We know things you should
know, but we cannot tell you."

into the US on the Visa Waiver Programme:

Is this not an indictment of the
corrupt way this immigration office is run? I think it is. If
Homeland Security wishes to be treated with any respect, then
it needs to remove from it's ranks the rotten core of corrupt,
malevolent, sick-minded little dictators it depends upon to
administer it's authority. Or am I asking too much?
My return flight ...
I cannot recall much about my
flight back to the UK. But I was about as severely depressed
as one could be. All I could think about was trying to contact
my wife.
I do remember boarding the plane
back to the UK. The flight, perhaps, took about 10 hours. In
all, I spent just over one day either flying or being
interrogated. For most of this time I slept - just blacked
out. All I recall is asking for a glass of water on the way
back. Everything else is a blur as I was unconscious nearly
all the time.
One crucial and critically
important fact is that my hand-carried personal effects were
not returned to me until my flight had took off. I was also
supposed to be handed a copy of the statement I was forced to
sign. It wasn't with my belongings. The airline's purser gave
me the envelope he had been given by the immigration officials
and a copy should have been enclosed in the envelope with my
passport, etc.
The fact that the Us Government
has still refused to release a copy of this statement is a
damning indictment of the level of the level of corruption in
the US immigration system.
Next stop - Heathrow.
