This is my first photo of Ling-Ling. I still think it's the best. It was taken at the Market of Choice store on Willamette, South Eugene. This is Anton, one of Ling-Ling's work companions. The American Legion. This is a "... not-for-profit community-service organization ..." LIng-Ling and I went for a walk in Valley River Park one evening. Ling-Ling liked this photo, but I felt that the body language was not right. At Rays Food Place, I photographed Ling-Ling with her friend, Maria. Ling-Ling, as you can see, was a sushi chef. When the sushi bar was to be closeddue to lack of trade (thoughout the store), she posed for a photo with all her work friends. I always walked Ling-Ling home. On one occasion, on the way to her apartment, I got a great shot of this squirrel.

I'm not sure which day I met
Ling-Ling, my new love interest, but it was quite an usual
experience. By the end of the month, we had spent so much time
together, I decided to propose. Ling-Ling and I were engaged.
