The salmon being hot-smoked. Usually, I don't like hot-smoked salmon, but this was good. This gentleman probably had the most painted face. The Native Americans are very colourful and artistic. CarolLee and a guy we met at the Pow-Wow. Just cannot recall his name. Even children enjoy the Pow-Wow. The most coliurful of all those attending? The Many nations preparing for the Grand Parade. Always willing to pose for a friendly photo.

Ling-Ling is in Portland. I wish
she was with me to visit the Mother's Day Pow-Wow at the
University in Eugene. It began with a salmon dinner at the
Many Nations Long House on campus before moving onto the
basketball stadium for the ceremony.
