Noonday Wagon Road Trail 145. It's said that this was the original road to the Bohemia gold mine region east of Cottage Grove, Oregon. Beautiful day - let's go look for gold! But first, some food. After a light picnic, we headed for the river. This gentleman spent his holiday looking for gold. He reckons you can make a modest income each week collecting the lightest, tiniest flakes of gold. Ling-Ling is very tired. It was a long day yesterday. But when was yesterday?

I've lost track of dates.
Ling-Ling, I think, has travelled down from Portland the
previous day and can now join myself, CaroLee and Mimi for a
day out. I mentioned it might be an idea to go to an area of
Oregon where you can pan for gold in the river. So we headed
out for Cottage Grove and then followed the road signs.
